nothing works on front panel

I purchased a 24.9 cu ft Ice2/0 French Door Bottom Freezer Mfr. Model # MF12568AES from Sears. Order date 08/04/06, Ship date 08/09/06.

The first thing that happened to the refrigerator was the front lights were flashing and the ice door was cycling open and closed.
The technician came out on 03/13/07 and did not have a part so he rescheduled the repair for 03/19/07.

The next problem was on 6/19/09 Clevenger Appliance Parts & Service installed an HVC Board because the refrigerator part of the unit would not cool. That cost $314.36.
About a month later the front control panel above the ice door started to act up. First we could not switch between ice and water, and then we could not adjust the temperature. Then after that the refrigerator was running at 39 degrees F. One morning about a month ago I got up and went to the kitchen and the Temperature was set for 37 degrees. At that temperature the milk at its highest setting was still freezing.
After that, last week, the ice maker quit working at all. I don’t even hear it calling for water.
I have the instruction sheet for the HVC board, but it simply just won’t work.

I haven’t called a Repairman for the latest problems; Could you help me? If you could just have a Technician tell me which board or other part is defective, I think I could do the repair myself

First I will say this is not to help you but hopefully you can help me.

your first problem where " the front lights were flashing and the ice door was cycling open and closed" I have that exact problem.

do you know the part that was replaced to fix it?

Thank you
MReed

I have the same problem as you do. can you please tell what the technician did to resolve the problem?

Repost these problems and include the model# in the correct box.

I am reposting this as a separate thread as requested with the repair that took place
