one of the element is not heating. the element is fine itself as i just swaoed and checked with others . how can i check if i need to replace the switch or the recepticle. thankyou.

If you have power going into the switch, but not coming out of the switch when it’s turned on the switch is bad and needs to be replaced.

A common problem with cooktops with these types of burners that no longer work is the receptacle that the burner plugs into. You may need to simply replace the receptacle. Here is a new one for your model.

I use a multimeter to check for voltage.
