Please help! I accidentally removed my oven door while moving the oven to paint and now I cannot get it back on. I have tried prying the hinges open and everytime I think it is on it snaps back out of place. I do not know what to try next. Nothing has broken as far as I can tell. A reply would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Cherad
In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of your oven.
Please, post it as a new thread.
Gene.
Checking various dishwasher components for continuity allows you to identify a failed component. For example, you can test your dishwasher water valve solenoid, float switch, and other dishwasher parts.
The following article on our forum will explain in detail how to run a continuity test using either an analog meter or a digital meter - How To Check Continuity With Ohmmeter
I have same problem, model no. SF360BEEZ0, as Mattsegawa and others. As he stated owner inst’s show a hinge hanger that does no match the installed part–ie there is NO pin hole. Thus no way to hold the hinge open. I’ve checked several times to ensure I didn’t miss it. Even thought about drilling a hole, but shied away from it as I didn’t want to do something I’d regret. Any help from Gene or other threads would be appreciated
I’ve never seen or heard about a missing hole for the door removal pin on a door hinge.
Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool range http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?diagram_id=57673&&model_id=250160.

Gene, thanks for quick response. I discovered I wasn’t putting enough pressure on the hinge. A parts lookup revealed the pin hole, and sure enough when I used a HD screwdriver in the hinge slot guess what appeared. Now I won’t go thru what I did. Thanks again.
My oven door will not stay shut. It will open just enough to release the switch showing that the door is not closed. My Modle # is RBS275PDQ8. I tried to dismantle the door but I am going into unchartered waters. Any info would help.
i think my oven door latch is broken since my door wont shut properly and i have order another one. can you tell me how to replace it…model KEBI171DWH10…i ordered part 4451896
My dishwasher’s problems occurs when I select a cycle on the front of the dishwasher - nothing happens (even after I replaced the touchpad on the door of the dishwasher).
I’ve read the article posted online, but it does not tell me how to test the continuity for the touchpad on the front of the dishwasher, nor the continuity for the control board on the inside of the dishwasher.
I am having the same problem - no lights on control panel - replaced door latch sensor - still no lights. I also need instructions on how to check for continuity on the control board or possibly a new defective control panel or any other component this forum suggests.
Thanks,
Milty
