Hi, I had a service guy come out and he said "you need an ERC", there is no voltage going to your broiler. My stove top works, clock works, no error codes display, but my broiler doesn’t work thus my oven won’t heat up to any temperature. The guy told me my broiler element is good.
So…is an ERC the same thing as the "clock oven control board" and does this sound like it would in fact be the part that I need?
I don’t know where to get a part # for the ERC for my unit because I have no idea how to look this up (I am a girl, not a handyman, though I wish I was) and is this something I might be able to do myself possibly??
Thanks so much…
Josie
Here are your parts

Here is a wiring diagram

This is a fairly complicated unit so it may be best to leave it to a pro.
I am assuming that the stove top elements work OK.
If the unit stays in pre-heat (never comes ready) then it will not be the sensor. The unit is trying to reach set point but for some reason cannot.
Since you heard a pop you may be able to find evidence about what popped (arced). Look for black soot and weld marks.
Check the broil element for any signs that it blew.
Check in/around the control board.
Sometimes when an element blows it creates a spark and this can also blow the control board.
If you cannot find anything then remove the broil element and check it with a meter. They are usually around 20 ohms.

Yews it is. Item 20 in Section 1 of the parts.
You will probably also need an overlay (Item 20 A in Section 1) as it is probably a peel an stick so often you cannot get it off the old control.

Click on the part’s picture and a Q&A comes up with info on how to install the control.
Be sure to unplug the unit or turn the breaker off when installing it.
Make yourself a diagram or take pictures so you know where the wires go.
