When turn on oven to bake the broil comes on.
yes when i turn oven on bake only the broil come on. have put new element in.

Disconnect power to range, and then inspect the wires from the bake unit to the switch. If there doesn’t seem to any breaks or burnt places in the wires the selector switch (#18 on control panel breakdown) is the most likely cause. I would say it couldn’t be the thermostat because the broil unit is coming on but I can’t say for sure.
