Blane,
You’re right on target, you will most likely need the drum bearing kit,
[part]AP2619300[/part]
The other possibilities , something metal stuck to the front panel seal, drum glides.
The idler pulley, usually creates a deeper rumbling type sound when it deteriorates,
Depending on the condition of the drum slides, I would at least clean, lightly sand smooth the glide surfaces and dab a bit of silicone lube on the pads, or replace them.
Good Luck,
Just to add my 2 cents…
You also may want to check the front drum bearing and the slides (#313 & #316 on the diagram).

Hello, I have a GE gas dryer that is squeeking. Will the 3 parts below work for my model and do you have any repair diagrams showing how to replace these items?
Dennis,
Your dryer is very similar to the previous model. So, you can use the same instructions.

Gene,
I bought and just replaced the Drum Bearing and slides. Works great!! I still have questions if I placed the slides (2 green and 2 white) in the proper order, as mine were completely gone (except for the 1st white one on the right) and I can’t find any instructions as to what order they go. Looking at the dryer, starting on the right (to left), I went white, green, white, green… Am I correct??
