pooling water in bottom

Been having an issue with my Kenmore refrigerator for a while now, in that there’s always a pool of water that forms at the bottom of the inside, underneath the crisper drawers. It seems to seep down from the top, as there is usually also water in the bottom of the meat drawer.

I understand that this is a common problem, but of course I always get those common problems long after I heard about them, and thus don’t remember most of what I was told about the problem, and didn’t come up with anything specific on Google (not very easy to word a search like that with so many common terms!). :frowning:

I was told that simply unplugging the unit and letting it thaw should do the trick, since it’s a result of freezing somewhere in the lines, but I figure if there’s a bad part in play, the problem will just come back.

Could it be a bad part that simply needs replaced, such as a heater or something? Maybe I have the unit too close to a wall?

Thanks!
