This refrigerator stopped cooling so I tore the back of the freezer section apart and found that it was all froze up. It doesnt appear to be defrosting. I did a little testing and I ordered a new defrost heater and thermostat along with a new defrost control. I hope this fixes it. But my question is that I need to know where the 2 probes belong. They were just kind of hanging down and not really sticking anywhere. Did it force them out of the evap coil when it froze up? Or did they come undone when I took the panel off? I just dont know where they need to go. It is a side-by-side fridge and they were hanging down above the evap coils to the RH side.
