All started out with son cooking brownies. Viking Gas range under GE Profile Spacemaker 2.0 microwave range hood. Range was "pre-heated" for about 30 minutes at 380 without the Spacemaker range hood being on. Son then used the "timer" on Spacemaker, but of course did not use timer, rather he cooked an empty microwave for up 28 minutes (not sure when it failed in this process, so not sure how long run time was). Unit is now completely, 100% dead. All displays dead and non-responsive.
I am hoping this is as simple as a fuse or reset switch in the unit, however I do not have a service manual to check. I checked outlet and it is working fine. Anyone have any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated by my son who is in hot water!
