Refrigerator/Freezer not getting Cold

Greetings all and thank you in advance for any advice given.

I have a GE PSI23SGNA Profile Arctica Side by Side refrigerator.

Overnight last night it appears it began leaking and when we woke up this morning there was a puddle forming in the freezer because everything began to melt.

Upon checking the digital temperatures, they read high 24 (freezer) and 55 (refrigerator).

Not knowing what to do I left it on thinking it would resolve itself during the day.
Those who read this far know it did not resolve itself.

To the web I went.

I unscrewed the rear bottom panel and looked inside to identify the parts I was looking at. The most important parts I could identify are the fan with a huge circular coil(kinda dusty, nothing crazy though) and the compressor of course. After identifying the parts I plugged the unit back in and hit the turbo cool button to force the fan on. It came on but I do not feel the compressor humming or giving any indication that it’s running.

With that said would be obvious the compressor is gone?

If not, what else should I look for? I have a multi-meter but I will not start poking around back there without know what to test.

Thanks again for any advice provided.

$400 and 15 minutes later … FIXED

So the repairman shows up … looks at the fridge for 2 minutes and says "be right back" …

He returns with a box and a bill. He says the repair will be $395.xx.

Turns out it was the motherboard which he promptly replaced within 10 minutes, took my $400 and walked right out the door.

I was hoping it was the compressor being that it is still in warranty but no such luck.
