Refrigerator Too Cold

I have a GE Profile Side by Side Arctica that is running way too cold on the refrigerator side. I have seen some messages that indicate that it could be the damper. Is there an easy way to check to see if it is indeed the damper? Could it be the temperature controls?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Pull the cover off the damper assembly(diffuser) and check to see if the door is busted or jammed open. If ok, you either have a bad motherboard in the back, a bad fresh food thermister, or a bad damper assembly. If you have a meter you can go to the "sticky" above "GE GS and PS models ) Go to the damper motor test, last page.

Thank you so much for the quick response. In the manual I have I do not see anything about a damper motor test. Also, I am confused when you say, "go to the "sticky" above "GE GS and PS models".

Go to the second "sticky" above in the refrigerator repair section.

I have the same issue. The damper door is broken on my PSS26SGPASS, the door snapped off the damper asm.
