My valve shut down and died about 2 months ago, just was able to replace it this morning.
Now I do not have water going to ice maker, and water is periodically shooting out of the front dispenser on it’s own. I cannot find a replacement diode kit for my model number.
I’m wondering if the ice maker feed line is frozen and the pressure may be venting through the front when it calls for water.
Update: I replaced the diode. Still doing the same thing. Does anyone know how much Tannerite I need to permanently "fix" it?
