Hello,
I have an old Jenn-Air electric range (201595F) that is working fine. It has one solid element cartridge and one grill element and I’d like to replace both with conventional coil cartridges. The receptacles on both sides of the range have 4 terminals, but the solid element cartridge (A105) has only 3 terminals. Does this mean the receptacle wiring has been modified? The grill element (800061 ) has 4 terminals. Is it strange that they both work? What can I replace with? (I’ve owned the house for 16 years and never have had any problems with the range.)
Any help is appreciated!
