My oven shorted out in an electrical storm. Now the cook top still works but the digital control panel for the oven is flashing F1 E1. I think I’ve narrowed down the part that is needed. Looks like I have to replace the control panel/clock. My question is, how difficult is this to do? I’d rather do it myself than pay a high priced repairman when the part is about $170 alone. My husband and I are not overly handy, but if it’s simple enough we could easily get it done. Any ideas, please let me know. THANKS A TON!
You shipped us a front panel without instructions for installation. We need help in knowing how to install it.
Do we have to take the entire top and back off in order to install the front panel? Or what?
Please call Judith or Eric at 818-990-3068.
Or email us at ericjudith91@yahoo.com.
Thank you.
We received part # AP2634924 - (WB36K10216) Panel Manifold.
We talked only with the order department (877-477-7278) and they referred us to this site, saying this is where we would get instruction for installation of this part.
Model JGBP90MEB
Serial Number LA255279P
Do we have to take off the entire top and back to remove the old panel manifold?
Thank you

Looks like you have to remove only the top panel.
