"I am attempting to replace the right front switch for the dual element. Apparently something got spilled on it and it shorted out.(Poor design but that’s another issue) The old part is AP4008679.(OLD) The other switch shown for my model is AP4101375 (NEW)The terminals are identically located but with different ID’s except that the new switch has no terminal for the black jumper(from P1 to S1)
OLD NEW
L2 equals P1 (two terminals Black)
2 equals H2 (red)
P2 equals L1 (red
S1 equals P1 but there is no terminal there
4a no marking but yellow wire
S2 equals P2 (orange)
4 equals H1
IS IT DOABLe by just omitting the black jumper?"
