Replacing Water Valve on Whirlpool Washer

I need to replace the water valve (part number AP4371093). Could you provide some instruction? In particular, what is the easiest way to remove the back of the washer (as strange as that sounds). I am assuming I need to remove the back to gain access to the valve.
