When my GE washer gets to the rinse cycle it does not go into the high speed spin cycle. For all other cycles the spin works as it should.
What happens is when it gets ready to spin it does it’s counter clockwise rotation, stops spins half a rotation clockwise and stops dead. The pause light begins to flash and the door unlocks. Press the pause button and the previous steps repeat.
Any suggestions? The belt is in good shape. My dryer is getting a work out.:( and "She who must be obeyed" is getting a bit ticked off.
:):):)Thanks for posting the codes and repair procedures. It turned out to be a bad water valve. $41.00 later I have a fully functional washer once again. Sure beats waiting til Tuesday, taking the day off to wait for the repairman to show up some time between 9am and midnight and then paying $100 for the part plus another $100 labor for a 20 minute job.
