My Roper will fill, then just sit. The wash cycle will not start. I can move the dial to spin, and it will spin and drain. No other cycles will do anything at all except the initial fill, then it just stalls. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
If you can not hear the motor run during the wash cycle you may have a bad timer or a bad connection on the motor wire harness.

No, I do not hear the motor. It just fills with water and stops. If I try to push in the knob and advance it to wash myself, it still does nothing. The only cycle that will work when I advance the knob, is the spin. Also, not sure if this matters, but the agitator moves freely left to right.
Do you have any idea how I can tell whether its a bad timer or bad connection?
