Hello I’m new to this forum, I was hoping to get some help with my electric Samsung front load dryer.
Noticed this problem this morning, turned power on, chose cycle pressed start button…acted like it started normal, then I heard a pop, then just a buzzing sound…but drum was not turning, the lights indicated it was still drying. Ok, popped back exhaust port off, belt seems to be snug, pulleys seem to be in place, the kill switch is fine, and the motor acts like it wants to turn, but belt and drum do not budge. The dryer will buzz for 3-4secs then will automatically kick off. I currently dont have voltimeter so i havent checked any fuses.
If anyone has an idea about the source of problem I would greatly appreciate it.
