Samsung Refrig/Freezer - What's wrong?

Samsung French Door w/bottom freezer - (RF265AARS/XAA)
(Had a huge ice storm that knocked out power for 2 wks. Not sure if this is coincidence or not)… Noticed that the newly purchased ice cream was not freezing, then everything in the freezer began to thaw but the refrigerator seemed fine. Now the refrigerator doesn’t seem as though it’s cooling to where it needs to be. The fan that cools the compressor is working (and clean), the coils in the rear are clean, there IS some water in the rear drip pan but I assume that must be from it thawing… The digital display began blinking 8A on the freezer and 88 on the refrigerator, then both began blinking 88…So, I unplugged it for a few minutes, plugged it back in and they stopped blinking. I set the temperature on both where I wanted it and even tried the quick freeze setting BUT it seems to reset itself to a higher temp. (strange?) (example: although I set the freezer temp to a low number, it’s now reading 64) The evaporator coils in the freezer have no ice on them whatsoever and the refrigerator evaporator coils have ice on the top 1/3.
Could the electrical power outage have effected it or was that just coincidence and something else wrong? I’m concerned that the evaporator coils aren’t covered in ice but that small amount on the refrigerator portion of this unit…
