Samsung RS267LASH: fridge freezes, freezer doesn't.

Hi. I thought I got a great deal when I bought a Samsung RS267LASH used for $300 a couple of months ago. Installed it in one of my rental houses, and it’s never worked. The fridge section freezes over, and the freezer is too warm.

I’ve reviewed tons of posts and people have tried these things: (1) computer board replaced; (2) clear ice from coils (but ice always returns); (3) sensor replaced.

None of these things has worked for the people who have tried them. I’ve read the class action suit, but that seems to relate to the fridge being too warm, not freezing up.

My gut tells me to cut my losses NOW and put it out on the street, then get another used fridge. I don’t have time to try a bunch of things. If anyone thinks they can hit the nail on the head, I would be thankful for the help. I feel sorry for the people who spent $1,700 or more and suffered similar or even worse problems. Guess Samsung isn’t ready for refrigerators. Haven’t read a good thing about them.

Cheers.
