Does anyone know where I can acquire schematic diagrams (diagrams showing interconnections of resistors, capacitors, diodes, chips, etc.) for the circuit boards found in the typical home appliances.

In this particular case I am looking for the schematics for the control board (part # AP2026779) in a GE stand alone range Model # JBP26GS1AD, Serial # RH206428G.

Ahh, I remember the last time I’ve tried to get this info. I’ve gotten as far as speaking to one of the engineers at GE. Apparently, this is a closely guarded secret with most manufacturers. You may find some help at CG Industries in IL, but I don’t know how open they will be since their main business is rebuilding boards…

Hi,

No you can not get to the element from the back side.
You will have to remove the front and drum.

This is a frigidaire dryer made for sears.

You can enter your model number at the sears site and see the diagrams.

You are correct, sir. Thanks!!
