Recently (2 weeks ago) had mother board changed out because unit was ramping up and down. Fixed that problem, but since then both sides of the unit have gradually gotten warmer, even though I keeping upping the dials. The freezer side is now at about 28 degrees and the fridge side near 50. Could this be related to a defective board or is it more likely a leak?

Check the condenser coil make sure it’s free of dust & also the fan is working. Also check that the evaporator to see if it is not frosted up,& the fan is going. If it is iced up back to the suction line then the refrigerant charge is good.If all was well before the board was changed the u may have a defective board
Remove freezer panel and check frost pattern, if parial defrost, you may have a bad evaporator thermister.
Check the defrost heater, probably bad.
