Same problem, sometimes it spins on high spin sometimes slower, sometimes not at all. When it hits the high spin cycle its hummin but no spinning. I am handy but appliances are not my area of expertise. Any info to the problem would greatly be appreciated. I’ll answer any questions you may have.
If you turn timer off during spin, then turn on and it now spins, you have a bad timer.
If ok you have a slipping clutch and probably bad brake shoes. You can go to my sticky above "replacing direct drive washer brake shoes" for complete info on this problem.
It only seems to spinn when I spin it. It starts off slowly and then begins to pick up speed. I do this a few times and then begins to work, acouple off loads later back to the same old thing. When empty I’ll do this with it not running and the basket seems to be held in place by the brake
