Our Amana Dryer has a horrible squeaking sound. When turned off and not running, if the drum is turned manually it still makes this squeaking sound.
What is it?
Change out the belt, pulley, cylinder glides and rear rollers. It’s probably the rear rollers but given the age changing out the other stuff makes sense while you are in there.
Be sure and completely clean the lint out of the blower, internal and external vent tubes and everything else.
