Standard Suds & F35 Solutions Not Working

Hello, I have a problem with diagnosis on a Whirlpool Duet Steam (WFW9500TW01) and would appreciate your help! Going on 3 weeks without a solution. I have the Suds & then F35 code, with the Suds code coming up immediately as the water starts to fill. The error was sudden, making me think it was electrical, as we have had no trouble with the washer up to this point.

I found the service manual in the machine and started following the diagnostics. I have removed all tubing including the pressure switch tubing and ensured it was cleaned and not leaking. Checked and cleaned the drain tube, found one infant sock and some change. Removed and cleaned the air trap and saw the bottom of the drum was clean with only minor soap scum. Removed and cleaned drum drain hose 8181732 and vertical drain hose W10003250. I replaced the waste water pump motor for good measure as the motor was a bit noisy after ~3 years. After ensuring everything was clean, I replaced the W10415587 pressure switch. The washer was still giving the F35 error, so based on some comments in the repair forum and after checking the connections on the wiring harness, I replaced W10156258 Expansion Control Board. However, no success.

I have run the diagnostics routines. The steamer diagnostic indicates the steamer is working fine, however I get the F35 code on the C01, fill and then drain. Everything else seems to work fine.

My next thought was to replace the main control board W10180782 but I am loosing hope that this will resolve the issue. Please help as I would rather not drop more money on this machine and not fix the problem. Thanks, Rob

Hi.

The only suggestion I can give you at this point - replace the main control board W10180782.The good thing is if you get it from APP you may return it back even if it has been installed.

Please, post the results.

Simon.
