Hi, my dishwaher is stuck on and will only run the quick clean cycle. I can run no other cycle. I tried resetting the the breaker for 30 minutes, no luck. Has anyone seen this type of problem before?
Thanks,
Steve

Hmm, it’s a touch pad and the contact points are clean and free of moisture or corrosion, no way to get stuck, unless there is a micro switch on the control board that enages when the touch pad is depressed. I guess I’ll just replace the control board.

Not the control board, you need to replace the touch panel, you have a stuck key.
That’s right… Why didn’t that click in my head? Something about the idea of being able to just chop off the ground on a 115 cord made me think this, but something just didn’t click…now it does… Thanks…
I really do need to go dig out the ol’ electricity book one of these days before i fry myself…again
Thanks
Just a quicky note to let you know it works… 3 heavy guage wires clipped in with heavy duty alligator clips… It’s only there as a test line to make sure the motor runs and the heater works… Now i have it coiled up beside the 240 line where it can’t hard a fly unless it’s a really BIG fly with 4 inch legs and even then the circuit breaker it turned off.
Thanks again.
