Swapping control board fixes it...

Have a KUDS01DJSS0 that will do the 2 minute drain but nothing else. If I disconnect one control board and swap in another, it will work for 1 cycle but then revert back to just the 2 minute drain. If I only unplug the control board and reinstall it, I still only have the 2 minute drain. If I swap one board for another will it work…but only for 1 cycle.

This isn’t the first problem the dishwasher gave me but it’s the current symptoms. Here is some background that may or may not be pertinant:

The dishwasher stopped working a few months ago. It was completely dead. Not having any idea what was wrong, I replaced the control board and thermal fuse with a used piece (without the new therrmal fuse "kit"). Diswasher worked fine. About a week ago, the thermal fuse blew. Replaced the thermal fuse with a new one (with the new "kit") and the dishwasher worked fine again. This is when I bought a multimeter and learned the first problem was from a blown themal fuse and probably not a bad board. So, I now have two good boards, two bad fuses, and one good fuse.

Any ideas what’s causing the dishwasher to work only for one cycle and only if I swap one board for another?
