I have a GE dryer that worked just fine up until a couple weeks ago. Now it seems to take longer and longer for it to dry. I don’t have the model number handy but I can get it later. It is electric. What is the most likely thing to have gone wrong with it? Thanks.
the most common thing, if the dryer is actually getting hot is for the vent to be blocked or crushed. go outside with the unit running and feel the vent, it should be good and strong; if not or unsure, go inside and remove the vent from the rear of the dryer. the airflow outside should come close to matching the airflow directly out of the machine.
Thanks. I haven’t been able to clear it yet but I looked at the vent. There is barely any opening for any air to pass.
