The dishwasher was running. I opened the door to add another dish. When I closed the door, I heard a small pop, and the agitation did not resume, as I expected.
The lights come on and will even indicate a full cycle (the rinse and dry lights coming on in sequence), the tub will fill and stop at appropriate times, but there is no pumping or draining.
We had been told the "small pop" may have been the thermal fuse, however we just took the panel apart and tested it; it’s fine.
