Over the last year and half since we purchased this dryer, have replaced thermal fuses on average every 2-3 weeks. We no longer use the "normal" dryer setting, only casual, and try to remove clothes well before they are dry - in short, absolutely tip-toeing around this thing. We call for repair, he changes the fuse as not covered under warranty, and leaves.
The environment seems fine: cleaned the dryer vent, taped up the flap at the exterior. We keep the lint trap clean.
The bottom area around the thermal fuse/blower wheel has very little extra lint, and we vacuum it out when we change a fuse.
What would you suggest?
