thumping noise

dryer makes thumping noise when in use

Probably your rear rollers, this part here.

but I would replace the front glides, belt and pulley at the same time and you should be all set.

thank you I will try this

If you thump noise is a quick "thump, thump" then a few second pause and a "thump, thump" again. This is the rollers hitting the seam in the drum where the drum was welded together and there is nothing you can do to solve this unless you are willing to filing the seam down where the rollers won’t hit the seam as hard. If the thump is a rapid "thump" that is repeated quickly and doesn’t have a pause "thump, thump thump thump thump thump thump thump thump" then one of the rollers has a flat spot and replacing it will solve this thump.
