I have read all the threads about people having difficulty replacing their door handles, but unfortunately, none of them help my problem. I have the schematic (from AppliancePartsPros) but it doesn’t break down how to get to the door handle screws. I opened my door and removed the plastic frame on the inside of the door, hoping it would expose the other side of the door handle attachment points. No Luck. I now have what appears to be the glass in a metal frame that is glued? into the outer plastic (overall door) door frame. I don’t know how to remove this bulky piece in order to get to my door handle attachment points. Any one please help? Thanks! I fear I may just have to buy a new door, could that really be the only option??
