I own the Whirlpool microwave referenced above that has a broken door handle and cracked plastic front cover parts 6 and 7 on the exploded diagram. I purchased the new parts from APP which I order at 3:30 pm and received the next day. Great start, but here is my problem.
I removed the three screws on the open end of the door which did nothing as another person has noted in this forum. The new door has a series of plastic ribs with hooks on the end of them on the top, bottom and hinge end of the door.
Can you pry the old front cover off with out breaking it (not that it matters) it’s cracked now and snap the new one in place? If so what is the best way to snap the new door in place?
