GE toploader/belt drive. I’m pretty sure the tubseal is leaking. What are the general replacement steps ie from the top/bottom/ what has to come off etc.
Also although the washer still works … there are some noises during the spin cycle. I’m thinking water has damaged…to some degree the transmission/gbox. Is this something that can be cured/alleviated with some lube when its apart or am I also looking at replacing that.

Sounds like its a loss but i’m still curious, how do i get to the seal? Access from the top or from the bottom or both?
