My drawer quit heating during cycles all of a sudden is this a heating element issue or a thermostat. There is not lint problem in hose or obstruction. I ran two cycles in a row and the 2nd it stopped heating.

Here is the wiring diagram

First turn your breaker of/on slowly a couple times.
Sometimes you can loose half the line without tripping the breaker.
If you have a meter check the plug for 240 volts (L1 to L2) and 120 volts (L1 to Neutral) and (L2 to Neutral)
Next is either the thermal fuse (item 6 in the Bulkhead parts section) or the heater.
The easiest way to check is unplug the unit and measure them with a meter.
If you do not have a meter
- Remove the heater and inspect it visually.
- Remove the wires from the thermal fuse, short them together, tape them up so they cannot short to the frame, plug the unit in and give it a try.
If the fuse is gone replace it ASAP as it is a critical safety device.
All the above are done with the unit unplugged.
The dry has 240 volts which can be lethal, so be careful.
