When is spin mode, there is a very loud noise. Cant tell if it is in the rear bearing or the transmission. It takes a little time to come up to the faster speed during spin. I replaced the tub bearing and the dampers as there was a small leak I think.
Since I did the above It sounds like a jet engine, many times louder that when it worked well. When I take the belt off, I can turn it OK, although it is a little hard (not sure how hard is normal), doesn’t seem loose or making a metal on metal noise when I do this
It is working OK, just loud. Maybe the rear bearing? or the bearing B? Does it take an expensive brake tool ($50+) to get the brake off? Any other way to do it?
