Recent had the ignitor on one burner stop sparking so I replaced the old module with a ER6540S001. When I tested it after the installation, it worked fine, but now the spark continues after the burner is lit. Ground to module is good. Continues to spark even with ignitor on other burner is disconnected. Ignitor wire looks OK.
Can the new module be defective and cause this issue?
