Not sure how old this is cause we just bought the house a month ago. When we moved in it had an F7 code. My husband took the screws out and looked at wires at control panel and the ribbon wire was slightly bent. He unbent it, thinking it didn’t do anything and when he flipped it back up to put screws back in, the code was gone and oven would turn on. It was fine for about 2 weeks and then it with came up again. I did what he did, but this time ribbon was not bent. While I had the front off I noticed a piece of paper folded up inside for a wire diagram, with parts listed and marked. The parts marked were the electronic range control and control panel. I am assuming that was from a repair man and those parts were replaced at one point. Well it worked fine for another 2 weeks and now it has all 8’s across keypad with all the words (broil, bake, etc) lite up. Don’t know anything about this so not sure if we should even bother to try and fix it or just get a new one.
