Sometimes my washer will advance to off in the cycle but will never switch out of rinse mode. It will continue to the end in rinse mode and turn off. It will not drain out the water and go into spin mode. When it turns off there is still a tub full of water. It continues to agitate and rinse like normal to the end and turns off. There are no smells, noises or anything else to indicate a problem. It appears to happen randomly.

If you will set the timer on any spin cycle would it spin and drain? Let say at the end of the wash cycle before the rinse?
If it would, then replace the timer.
