Hi;
I hope someone can help me. I have a GE top load washer that fills and drains fine, it also spins fine but it won’t agitate. The unit is a GE WBSR1060TBWW. I have narrowed the problem down to the clutch or the transmittion. The unit has an oily film on the bottom floor of the washer. This has me believing the transmittion is bad. This being said, I have ordered a transmittion but am not sure how to get the old one out. Is there a keeper nut on top of the spline shaft, or does it simply slip up into the drum and held in place with the lower mounting hardware? Thanks for any help you can offer. Randylic
