Whirlpool top loader fills only, timer buzzes, won’t advance.
lid switch okay.

Check the pump for an obstruction, the coupling to see if it is broken and jamming things, and see if the tranny turns freely. If all checks out try changing the timer.

Found the issue. Pinched bare spot on wire at the capacitor bracket. Cap was okay, used an P-clip to replace bracket. Functioning 100% now.
