When I wash a full load of clothes, water leaks out of the top when the washer spins. It comes out of the little holes on the left. I ordered a assy balance ring from your diagram, but am not sure that is the correct part. The washer made a loud noise for a couple of weeks also, but now it is quiet. What part would let water spin out over "whatever" and thru those holes on top of the ring on the tub. Thank you!
Check if the washer tries to agitate during the spin. If it does then the transmission has gone bad. The model number you posted does not come up.

the washer spins out completely - does not agitate during spin- front of washer is off - i can see it working- water comes out over the top thru the little holes - when you look up parts, for some reason an 0 is added to ge model #'s - so…model #is wdss4120a0ww, this # comes up on your parts list model #'s -
Remove the outer tub cover and check the outer tub. Post the results and use the reference numbers from the diagrams.
