Washer Leaking -- Maytag Performa -- Help before I am buried in laundry!

We have a Maytag Performa washer that is just over 10 years old. It has served our large family well, but recently began giving us trouble.

One small load of heavy laundry sent it walking off-balance across the floor, and since then, it has leaked for about every load.

I am willing to do anything to have this washer back to it’s non-leaking self. We have rebalanced it (adjusting the front legs and "dropping" it on the rear legs). That did not solve the problem.

What do I do next?

You have to find the leak.
Perhaps it is just something came loose when it became unbalanced.
Open it up and take a look

I had my husband tear the machine apart… and he found the leak was coming from the back right (when facing the machine) corner, where the spring there hooks onto the tub (near the drain line, he thought). When the machine is on, it is a constant leak down the spring. If I knew how to post pictures on here, I would. Does that point me in the right direction to figure out what part needs to be tightened or replaced? Any help would be appreciated!
