Washer will not spin

Washer appears to go thru all cycles, but will not spin. It makes a chattering sound, which to me may be the mottor spinning but a broken coupling. The washer is in a tight spot, requiring some difficulty for access. I would like a reasonal prospect and then I will order the coupling befor attempting repair.

Tilt it back toward the wall and look for black rubber and/or white plastic filings on the floor under the motor. If so; best evidence of a broken coupler.

Magician - I did not find any broken parts, so I removed the motor and the coupling was split. Thanks for the advice.
