My washer fills and goes thru the wash cycle and it begins to drain. The motor then stops turning and the timer stops advancing. The motor does not start back up to run the pump or begin the spin cycle. The lid switch is good (I tested it with an ohm meter). If I manually advance the timer the solenoids activate but the motor never starts running; without the motor running, the cam bars don’t move. I thought it was the timer that simply quit working so I bought a new one (Part #AP2915525, Part #660970 on the AppliancePartsPros packing list) from appliance parts pros. When I installed it, another symptom appeared. The washer would fill then immediately begin to drain, it only partially drained. It would then refill only to drain again. Manually advancing the timer never allowed it to agitate or anything else. If I put the old timer back on the original symptoms come back. The washer is a Whirlpool Model LA5530XMWO
