I have a Frigidaire front loading washer that will not do the final spin. It does drain all the water but won’t go into that final spin. The rinse/spin and drain/spin cycles do not spin either. I replaced the door latch assembly and the control board. Still does not spin. All the cycles work prior to this. I tried the diagnostic check. It alerted me to replace the control board. After I did, it no longer gives me any error codes at all. I am guessing the washer is 5 yrs old. It makes a noise like it wants to spin but doesn’t spin. I can move it by hand so it’s not stuck or anything like that. What other parts could it be? Please help. Thank you.
This may be the motor control board, or the door lock assembly. See if you can do some testing using the tech notes inside the lower service panel, but if not, try replacing each one. If you buy from this site you can return the parts that you do not need or that do not fix the machine.
