I have a Roper RAS8245EQ1 washing machine. The agitator will not start on its own. If it is started by hand it will perform normally after that point. But, you have to grab the agitator by hand and turn it to get it to start. I am leaning toward a possible issue with the transmission?? Any insight would be appreciated.
