I have a Frigidaire pn 241851214 that has in the door ice and water. When the valve is opened to fill the ice tray with water, water comes out the in the water dispenser until the tray is full then it stops.
I replaced the water valve in the back of the fridge with a new one. (pn 241734301) this is a valve which has the in-take to the filter- back to the same valve and out to 2 other valves…the ice maker and the water dispenser.
The water dispenser works fine when you push on the switch in the door. The ice maker works fine. If I turn off the ice maker the water doesn’t come out the dispenser.
