My whirlpool refrigerator water dispenser has stopped working, partially.
I checked the incoming line and have pressure. I then checked the dispenser and it just dribbles out and then stops. If I remove the filter from the bottom of the refrigerator, the water comes out fine, but I cannot leave this opening without a filter as the water continues to spit out. I put a new filter in, and nothing. Limited half made ice cubes, but i guess that it is due to little water going from incoming line, through filter and into ice maker.
Since the water runs fine without a filter in, could it be the filter housing causing the problems?
